Terms of service
The rules for using Eil.
Last updated:
Using Eil
By adding Eil to a server or using its commands and controls, you agree to these terms.
You must meet Discord's age requirements and follow its Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
You must have permission to add Eil to a server or change its settings.
Acceptable use
Do not use Eil for harassment, spam, scams, or unlawful activity.
Do not access someone else's data without permission or bypass access restrictions. Do not disrupt Eil, Discord, or connected services.
Do not exploit bugs to harm users or services, or expose credentials, webhook URLs, or private information. Report security issues to privacy@kr0nick.dev without sending secrets.
Server settings and moderation
Server managers are responsible for the features they enable, the channels they choose, and who can read notifications and reports.
Tell members about enabled logging and moderation. Restrict access to sensitive reports.
In one private server, Eil's honeypot can delete messages and ban then unban users who post in it, unless their roles exempt them. Automated moderation can make mistakes. Contact the server's moderators to dispute an action.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains what Eil handles, how long records remain, and how to request access, correction, or deletion.
Removing Eil from a server does not automatically delete all stored records or reports already posted in Discord.
Availability and accuracy
Eil depends on Discord and other services. Outages, maintenance, or changes to those services can interrupt its features.
News summaries, status reports, notifications, and timers can be late or wrong. Check official sources before relying on them.
We may change or remove features. We cannot guarantee availability or accuracy, or recover every lost record.
Stopping use
You can stop using Eil at any time. Server managers can disable optional features or remove the bot.
We may restrict access if you abuse Eil, create a security risk, or break these terms or Discord's rules.
Limits of responsibility
Where the law allows, Eil is provided as is, without warranties. We are not liable for losses caused by outages, incorrect information, or automated actions.
These limits do not remove rights or responsibilities that the law requires.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Eil changes. The latest version is at eil.kr0nick.dev/terms, with its revision date above.
If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using Eil.
Questions about these terms can be sent to privacy@kr0nick.dev.
